Chuck-A-Luck|Sic Bo
Looking for a fun and exciting Casino Game for rent. Chuck A Luck or Sic Bo is an old-school dice game straight from the Dockyards of America. Fantastic for beginners, Chuck-A-Luck is all about betting on the outcome of 3 dice inside a spinning wire hourglass shaped cage. Chuck-A-Luck is a great casino game, whether it be for the beginner, as it can be considered less intimidating than other games, or for the experienced casino player, as it provides something new and fresh to have a go at!
A game made popular with variations played in English Pubs and brought over to the US in the early 1800s. It was popular on the battlefield of the Civil war, as it was easy to play and conceal when the soldiers' superiors came close, as gambling was not allowed. We love it as it is a fantastic addition to your casino party for variety and a great option for those that don’t wish to learn the other more involved games.
Sic Bo, an expanded version of the basic game, is currently in casinos to play and can be found at most online casinos. This is a game to have at your event as you can walk up too and almost immediately understand and begin playing, similar to the Money Wheel and Slot Machines. It gives options to those that want to play a game that is exciting, but does not require learning too many rules or playing against other players
GAME TUTORIAL
All The Info You Need To Know In Order To Play
How To Play:
Chuck-a-Luck is one of the simplest games to play. On the table will be a Playing Board with the different playing fields, that allow you to “bet” on the various ways 3 dice can roll (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). The board is shown below:
There are 3 large dice in an hour-glass shaped cage that gets spun, whatever sides of the dice come up, those sides win. If the dice come up as 5, 1, and 3, each of those numbers & the total 9 wins, depending on which place on the board you bet.
Number Field:
When you bet on a number & your number comes up you win. If multiple dice show with the same number, this spot pays out for each side that comes up (so, if you bet on 1 and one 1 comes up, you win 1x your bet / if two 1s come up you win 2xs / and if three 1s come up you win 10xs)
Like in Roulette, you can place multiple bets, but each bet cannot be more than $100
Jackpot (3 of a Kind):
Betting on 3 of a kind to come up is a long shot of a bet, so you win big if it hits! You win 30xs your bet if any 3 of a kind comes out.
Big & Small Fields:
In looking at the numbers and payouts on these fields, there are 2 items to consider. First, the number of ways you can win (how many numbers are in they playing field). Second, the probability of the numbers coming up that are in the field, (how many combinations of 3 dice make up each number) when rolling 3 dice. i.e There are 4 ways to make a 7 with 3 dice (1, 2, 4 | 3, 3, 1 | 5, 1, 1 | 2, 2, 3 ) and there is 1 way to make a 4 with 3 dice (1, 1, 2), so there is less probability of rolling a 4.
The Big Field has 6 numbers to win and the Small Field has 4 numbers to win. So there are more ways to win on numbers in the Big field, then the Small field. The probability of the numbers in the Big Field are much higher, then the probabilities of the numbers in the Small Field. The numbers in the Big Field come up more often because there is more then one way for them to roll out, then the numbers in the small field (You will see many more 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, & 15, then 4, 5, 16 & 17 when you roll 3 dice. This is why the payout is 3xs on the Big Field, and 10xs on the Small Field.
Notice on this bet any 3 of a kind loses, this is to make the winning combinations a bit smaller, so know this when betting on these 2 fields.
Low & High Fields:
The LOW and HIGH field are bets on the sum of the 3 dice in a range of numbers. The LOW is from 4 through 10 (4 & 10 and all the numbers in between) The HIGH is from 11 through 17 (11 & 17 and all the numbers in between). Almost all the possibilities of 3 dice roll, split into 2 possible bets. The payout is 1x your bet.
Notice on this bet any 3 of a kind loses, this is to make the winning combinations a bit smaller, so know this when betting on these 2 fields.
The minimum bet for this game, on any field, is $5 and the maximum bet is $100.
