All The Info You Need To Know In Order To Play

How To Play:

If you’re new to this game of poker, it may seem complicated. But the rules are quite simple. The trick is learning the strategy of what to do with your three-part bet, whether to “pull it back” or “Let Your Bet Ride.” This is a game you are playing against no one; you are just trying to get the best hand for yourself. Even though what you have in your hand doesn’t seem like it should matter to others, it could, as the table is played with a 52-card deck and your 3 cards could impact the way another player bets. Another player may need the 5 of diamonds to complete their hand, and you may have the 5 of diamonds, so, you need to keep your cards to yourself.

You will get 3 cards (so will everyone that plays) and the dealer will get 2 cards (face down). The dealer cards are community cards and with your 3 and the dealers 2  cards you are trying to make the best poker hand possible to win.

First you make three bets of equal size, on the Ante, 2 and 1 space, then the Dealer gives each player three cards (face down).

The player looks at his cards and states “Let it Ride”, indicating they are playing all 3 bets, or with a sweeping motion towards themselves, indicate to the dealer they wish to “take back” their number 1 bet.(You do this if your 3 cards don’t look very good) The dealer will push their bet back to them.

Once everyone on the table has done this, the dealer then flips the first community card, each player (when its their turn) then indicates keeping all remaining bets by stating “let it ride”, or if they want to pull another bet back, (the player gets only 1 back). The dealer will push the bet back to the player. Once they decide which option, “take back” or “let your bet ride” they then place their cards on the table just above their bets.

The dealer then flips over the second community card and one by one evaluates the 5 cards for each player and pays out according to the value of the 5 cards. The players 3 cards and the dealers 2 cards.

Take Back or Let Your Bet Ride:

Looking at the players 3 cards first dealt from the dealer, If the player has a pair of 10s or better in their hand, they have already won, they will place their cards above the Ante bet “face down” and play all 3 bets for the remainder of the game. If they do not, they would need to evaluate their cards to decide if what they have is something they feel could amount to a winning hand, once the 2 cards the dealer has are revealed. On the initial deal, 3 of the same suit (all hearts etc.) or 3 sequential cards (4, 5, 6 etc.) are possible good hands to keep all 3 bets “on”, without having seen the 2 cards the dealer has to show the table for the community cards. Any other combination would be considered a smart play to pull your number 1 bet back.

After the dealer reveals the first community card. Again, the player wants to look at the 3 cards they have, plus the now shown community card and decide if they have a winning hand or possible chance to win with the remaining community card (that hasn’t been revealed yet). Using the same strategy from above, they decide if they have a chance of getting a winning hand, once the last community card is revealed. From that they will either “take back” or “let your bet ride."

Listed below are the payouts of the hands. The minimum bet is $5, which would be placed on all 3 betting spaces.  The maximum bet is $100 per betting space.
